MineFortress Mod - Privacy Information

Last Updated: April 21, 2025

This notice explains how the MineFortress Minecraft Mod handles data related to supporter features.

Checking Your Supporter Status

  • To unlock exclusive in-game rewards (like special skins) for Patreon supporters, the MineFortress mod needs to check your support level.
  • When you are playing, the mod will automatically send your current Minecraft In-Game Name (IGN) to our secure website API endpoint: https://www.minefortress.net/api/supporter?name=<Your_IGN>.
  • Our website uses your IGN (and its corresponding public Minecraft UUID) to look up your support tier, which you may have registered on our website via Patreon login.
  • The website API sends back only your support level (e.g., "ZOMBIE", "VILLAGER", "NO_SUPPORT") to the mod.

How the Mod Uses This Information

  • The mod uses the received support level only to enable or disable specific in-game features or cosmetics locally on your computer for your current game session.
  • The mod does not store your IGN, UUID, or support level persistently on your computer. It only uses the information temporarily for the check and to apply the relevant in-game effects.
  • The mod does not send your IGN or any other data to any servers other than https://www.minefortress.net.

Website Data Handling

  • How your IGN, UUID, and support status are stored and managed on our website (minefortress.net) is governed by the main MineFortress Website Privacy Policy. This mod privacy notice only covers the mod's actions on your computer.

Summary

The MineFortress mod sends your IGN to our official website solely to verify your support level for unlocking in-game rewards. It does not store this data locally or share it elsewhere.

If you have questions, please refer to our main website privacy policy or contact us via the website.
